Nutrition Addiction Mitigation Eating and Drinking (NAMED) was developed and created for addiction and recovery patients. NAMED is the only program that specifically targets the opiate receptors, which cause the cravings of addiction. It also targets inflammation, created by acidosis(low PH)which causes large insulin fluctuations, resulting in sugar cravings and stimulating the opiate receptors. Specifically designed menus and stable alkaline water (Aqua OH-) are used to drastically reduce these symptoms. One must stay away from simple sugars and simple carbohydrates, gluten(wheat products), diary, artificial sugar substitutes (except natural stevia)and artificially processed foods that use non- natural dyes, additives and preservatives. All of these stimulate the opiate receptors.
