I would like Dr. Kantor to speak briefly about which coffee has the most caffeine in terms of roast (light) and form (cold brew/nitro cold brew). TIA! Will be added to this article:

According to several coffee blogs including,  https://www.kickinghorsecoffee.com/en/blog/which-roast-has-more-caffeine the amount of caffeine is according to the amount of coffee used during the brewing process not the shade of the roast itself.  To be specific if the coffee is measured by weight, caffeine content is virtually equal in light roast and dark roast coffee. But, if measured by scoop, light roast coffee will have oh-so-slightly more caffeine, since the beans are denser than a darker roast. Because they’ve been roasted longer, dark roasts have less mass. According to https://thefreshtoast.com/culture/nitro-vs-cold-brew-coffee-whats-the-difference/ cold brew and nitro cold brew have the same caffeine content just different taste.  Nitro cold brew has been described as a smooth nutty flavor whereas regular cold brew has an acrid and somewhat bitter taste.

Coffee in moderation 1-2 cups per day is healthy for digestion, blood sugars and metabolism.  Most brews and forms of coffee have the same health benefits, if there is not a lot of sugar or fats added into the drinks.  Enjoy your coffee in whatever form you prefer and avoid adding in harmful sugars, syrups or sweeteners.
